Six casitas were built in El Sauce, Nicaragua, during the early months of 2013. Six families were overjoyed. In the words of one beneficiary:
We ask God, who made our dreams come true, to also help the other needy people. In the same manner, we ask God to bless the workers who helped with the construction and gave us money for our little house.
The photos here demonstrate the magic that transforms American dollars into practical and non-contingent support for Nicaraguan families. It’s the Spanglish magic that comes from sweating, eating, and solving problems together. It’s the reason the 4 Walls Project continues to thrive.
